Business Travel Sales Manager

  • Comprehensive knowledge of market position, pricing and rate structures, sales strategies, yield management, booking trends, and future hotel planning.
  • Work closely with clients to develop corporate rates and handle their transient room night needs.
  • Be fully knowledgeable of competitive markets outside the area.
  • Be fully knowledgeable of the capabilities and limitations of the hotel and departments that may impact sales strategies
  • Make personal sales calls (80 outside calls per month)
  • Make prospecting sales calls (100 per month)
  • Conduct site tours for potential clients (20 per month)
  • Maintain detailed records of discussions with guest, including all travel requirements.
  • Upsell to improve revenue generation on property.
  • Attend trade shows, industry and local events that create opportunities for networking


  • Must have 3 to 5 years of hotel sales experience
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
