Cook-Garde Manger

Actively participate in the cold food production area of the kitchen in order to maintain Hilton's high standards of quality.

The Food & Beverage team works with some of the best local ingredients, grows their own herbs on the 16th floor rooftop herb garden, and harvests their own honey from their beehives on the roof of the fifth floor.   • Prepares all cold food items for buffet, banquet and restaurant used according to standard recipes.
  • Visually inspects appearance of all cold food for proper color combination and overall presentation to maintain appeal.
  • Ensures proper storage of all food items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain product freshness.
  • Properly rotates food products in order to keep spoilage and waste to a minimum.
  • Ensures that all equipment in work area is properly cleaned.
  • Performs other duties as required, eg., special orders/buffet presentations.


  • Thorough working knowledge of cold food preparation.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
