Pasta Cook

Our Pasta Cook runs our lunch pasta buffet weekdays.  The pasta buffet features three pastas, three sauces, and numerous vegetable and meat options. As pasta cook you have the flexibility and creativity to select the sauce of the day and the daily pasta feature. Interact directly with guests and prepare pasta dishes based on requests.

Great opportunity to be creative and hone culinary skills! No weekends! No evenings! First shift 8 am to 3 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Preps station and ensures all equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
  • Prepares all foods suitable for the pasta bar according to standard recipes to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
  • Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items.
  • Cleans up and takes down workstation and controls the proper storage of product and portion control, eg., especially high cost meat items.
  • Keeps all refrigeration, storage, and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with health department regulations.
  • Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in work station.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma certification in a Culinary discipline a plus
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
